iCHEF's F&B business licence consulting services are designed with small to medium businesses in mind. Our consultancy is for first-timers in the food business and growing F&B businesses that don’t have additional manpower and time to figure out the application and compliance processes.
We help startups and independent F&B businesses navigate the technical business set-up process for the fastest results, providing advisory every step of the way and avoiding common setbacks.
Includes advisory on layout, kitchen equipment, cooking methods, document vetting and communication with the government agencies.
We specialise in submission and pre-inspection site visits to ensure licence approval.
URA Change of Use application is the most common cause of delays in SFA licence approval, especially with shophouses.
Our experience allows us to expedite the process for you.
Includes application for the following liquor licences: Class 1A, Class 1B, Class 2A, Class 2B, Class 3A and Class 3B.
Our clientele includes bars, bistros and restaurants serving alcoholic beverages.
Includes assessment and submission by QP, plan draftings, and RI inspection.
The FSC is issued after completion of all fire safety works. Failure to comply is an offence under the Fire Safety Act.
We would love to understand your business better in order to provide the best service possible.
Please note that iCHEF does not offer consulting services for food processing/ manufacturing licence, central kitchens, cloud kitchens, SFA Food Shop (Market Produce), SFA Food Shop (Catering) and food import/ export.
Of course you can. Most of the time, our clients engage us because they feel their time is better spent on building their new business than on figuring out the protocol for licence application, which can often be confusing and frustrating. We aim to simplify the whole business setup process for you.
You do not need approval from HDB or any SFA licence to small-scale F&B businesses. Operators should note that as the food prepared is meant to be small-scale, they should not sell the food to retail food establishments or to/at temporary fairs or offer catering services.
You may refer to HDB’s advisory for home-based businesses here: https://www.hdb.gov.sg/residential/living-in-an-hdb-flat/home-business/home-based-business-scheme
As long as your unit meets the prerequisites (which we will brief you about during consultation), there is no reason to have your SFA licence application rejected. We are proud to say that this has been the case for all our clients to date and all have received approval.
Our consulting packages are customised according to your needs, as every case is different depending on the condition of the premises. All packages include licence application, step-by-step advisory, site assessment, liaising with government agencies and document vetting.
